It has been 3 years for me working at Green School Bali, as well as explore my curiosity about renewable energy. It is really interesting to be involved in this school, an educational institution that teaches about sustainability and prepares the students to be green leaders. I had an opportunity to be interviewed by Tech for Impact, if you want to read their publication, please read their article HERE.
I will say that developing solar and hydro energy in Indonesia is not an easy job, especially since the price of electricity from the public grid is really cheap here. But there are many other values that people must believe in fighting for renewable energy, such as :
1. Think about the environment, renewable energy is clean and low emission.
2. Think about how much is the Indonesian natural resources for renewable energy, if we do not start to develop the system now, other countries will own them in the future, sad!
3. Think about showcasing the future to the young generation, even though small, the system that we start to build now will be an example for the next generation when they are rocking the world.
4. Think about "what can we do better for our world?".
Please watch the video from TECHFORIMPACT to know more about the renewable energy system that we develop at Green School Bali.
People should have values, so by extension, a company should. And one of the things you do is give back. So how do you give back? We give back through our work in the environment, in running the company on renewable energy. We give back in job creation.
