Recently I've been listening to 'Past Lives' a lot. The song is just so relevant and beautiful. I love poetic words that communicate deeper meanings. For me, life is a mysterious journey full of unpredicted occurrences, but everything will make sense when the stars align!
If you have your own world, a place where you are searching inside, and sometimes you feel lost outside, that is totally fine. I feel that too. We should not feel that we are overdramatic. I feel that I should embrace it, whatever emotions, ideas, contemplations, and searches I have. This is my story, and I am writing it down.
Just because I am not simple and follow the rules, it does not mean that my storyline is wrong. It just mean that I am rather a little bit more creative in my writing, haha.
Not everyone will have the same way of perceiving the world as me; they might see the world differently, and I totally know that I can not force them to understand me. However, I used to always want to understand them (even if it does not look like that, but I did try, lol). It takes a long time for me, but now I have started to get it, that.. just the same as they don't get you, you do not need to always get them. It's fine if you ignore them; in the end, you are walking your own path.
When I have a meaningful conversation with someone that is aligned in some perspectives with me, I would feel that person lifts me up. But in reality, if someone hurts me, that person also does the same, just in different ways. Some connections are meant that way. All just to teach us to be the best versions of ourselves. We just need to see it from different perspectives. We just need to always search inside, nothing can hurt us, cause what truly matters is everything we care about. If we don't care about that, then, it won't matter anymore.
As good as security, some meetings will shake things up. Challenge the status quo and disrupt our lives. But everything is to let us search inside. They shake things but lift us to level up in our own story!
